Two Free 960 Grid Photoshop Templates

For most people who design custom websites, the first step is creating the layout in Photoshop. Having a three or four column template ready is the fastest solution to make sure that your design will fit inside the browser window and that everything is evenly spaced and lined up correctly.

Having done this over and over again when creating a new site, I whipped up a three and four column 960 grid templates for Photoshop that I'm going to offer free to my readers. The page size is 1920x1500 to accommodate those of us who like to use large background images and use the retail space of wide-screen monitors.

If the guides aren't showing up when you open the file, go to View > Show > Guides and make sure you have them enabled. You can also change the color of the guides by going to Edit > Preferences > Guides, Grid, Slices & Count. I have mine set up for the screen shot as #999999 and I'm using dashed lines.

These templates are free to use, modify or redistribute as you see fit as long as you give a link back to me or this page. I Hope you find them as useful as I do, and comments, questions or suggestions are always welcome.

      Hi Aaran,

The sole reason I made them, I was tired of creating them over and over and searching for them when I needed them. I hope everyone finds them useful.
