Since I obviously haven’t updated my portfolio for quite some time because of work and everything else going on in life, I figured I would show off a few of the things I have been working on lately.
Autoparts2020 is one of the sites that I develop for. It’s not too often that you are left to do whatever you want and go crazy getting creative on a website. This month I was told to give the site a holiday feel in addition to showcasing gift ideas and the featured products on the site.
Instead of random miscellaneous icons or images everywhere, I opted to simply add a snowflake background with a distance perspective that I created in Photoshop. It’s Simple, and it gets the point across easily.
Another on-going project is the redesign of this site, because, well, I’m just plain sick of looking at it. For the newest version my main goals are to highlight my portfolio first and foremost, and fix many of the unforeseen problems with the current version while creating a more versatile and easily updated site. I’m still in the layout stages and hopefully will have something more concrete as the months go by, but until then I only have a teaser screen shot of what I have going so far. It’s not much, but it’s something for now.
That being said, I welcome all readers to look a round the site and find things that you either don’t like or feel could use some improvement in your opinion so I can get them right in the next version. leave a comment on this post or shoot me an email from the contact page if you feel like being anonymous.
Also, feel free to check out Autoparts2020 and the screen shot of the new design and tell me what you think. I welcome any questions, comments or constructive criticism you can give!
